President - Bismark Asakiya Anafo

Bismark Asakiya Anafo had his high school education at Christian Methodist SHS. He further did a professional study in software engineering at IPMC College of Technology.


He joined the Federation of Environmental Journalists in his first year of enrollment in the Ghana Institute of Journalism. He has moved from the position of Public Relations Officer to the President of the club subsequently





















 Vice President - Ernestina Serwaa Asante


 Ernestina Serwaa Asante is a level 400 student of GIJ, reading Communication Studies and specializing in journalism. She is the Vice President of the club. 

She loves to read and write on issues concerning the environment. One of her write up, won her a recorder and a free field trip to Bogoso to gain the exposure and also see how some environments have been destroyed and/or polluted by illegal mining in the community.

One outstanding feature of her is her smile.


















General Secretary -  Tracey Ibrahim



Miss Ibrahim is an old student of Mfanstiman Girls where she studied science and currently a third year student of the Ghana institute of journalism.

She joined the club in 2015 and has been actively involved.
















Public Relations Officer - Chukwueke Shadrach Sampson


He is an old student of Kaneshie Senior High/Tech. who studied General Arts and an awardee of the best English and Government student in March 2014. 


He is the Public Relations Officer of the Federation. He is currently a third year student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism and an ardent writer and a public speaker who has the desire to impact life positively.

He is very concerned more with impacting knowledge which certainly includes things about society (including the environment).














 Organizing Secretary - Nicholas Nii Akwei Allotey

He is a product of Westley Grammar Senior High School. He studied General Arts and moved on to the Ghana institute of journalism for higher education. 

His love for the environment informed his decision to join the federation in his first year at the institute and has actively participated in its activities.

Due to his hard work, he was made the social media manager but is currently the organising secretary of the club.
















Financial Secretary- Daimat Muhktar


Miss Muhktar is a young lady who attended her basic and senior high education in the Ashanti region. 

She is pursuing a degree course in Communication Studies, journalism specifically at Ghana Institute of Journalism hoping to become a journalist. 

Since journalism includes the environment,  she joined the Federation of Environmental Journalists to aid in keeping the environment in a good way it should be done.












Social Media Manager - Daniel Anyorigya

His passion for the environment is seen in his social media campaign through a hash tag he developed "climatechangeGH". 

He is a degree student at GIJ specialising in Journalism (Data Journalism).
