FEJ DONATES WASTE BINS TO GIJ KITCHEN STAFF

The Federation of Environmental Journalists on Monday, 22nd February 2015 donated two rubbish bins to the Kitchen staff of GIJ. 
The culinary department have over the years lacked adequate waste bins to enable them properly dispose off their organic ways.
They therefore resorted to crass method of waste disposal which often resulted in air pollution on campus.
The Federation therefore took up the task of securing bins from Jekora Ventures, to salvage the situation.
The bins were labeled paper and organic. The paper bin will contain empty fish or meat cartons, while the latter will be used for purely organic purposes such as food crumbs, intestines etc.
The PRO, Mr. Peniel Kind, made the donation on behalf of the club.
